Cole Cooks: Pizza Hamburger Topping
This is a seasoned ground beef topping. It has many uses, but we use it to make Pizza Hamburger Topping. This was inspired by the French Bread Pizza at Killer Pizza from Mars, a favorite pizza joint in Escondido, that is in our best pizza in San Diego quest. We use this pizza hamburger topping for our French Bread Pizza recipe. However, it can easily be used on any pizza or even in other dishes.
When we make this we like to top our pizza with a mixture of half Mozzarella a half Cheddar cheese.
Pizza Hamburger Topping
An easy to make Pizza Hamburger Topping
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion minced
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon cumin
Instructions
- Brown ground beef with onions and garlic
- Add seasonings and mix to combine
- Use as a topping for pizza

When making a pizza with hamburger topping we like to add a mixture of mozzarella and cheddar cheese
