De Anza Cove is in the far northeast corner of Mission Bay. It is a small, sheltered cove with a large grassy area.
De Anza Cove is a perfect place for large gatherings. The beach area has a dedicated swimming with seasonal lifeguards.
There is a lifeguard in summer for the dedicated swimming area
Directly south of the cove there are more motor sports activities. The De Anza Boat Launch is actually outside the cove in the Mission Bay Park parking lot.
The boat launch area is directly south of the cove entrance with its own parking lotThe De Anza Cove Boat Launch has its own grassy area but is not designed for swimming. Swimming is further north in the actual cove.Motor boat activity occurs right outside De Anza Cove. However, the actual cove is very sheltered from the rest of the bay.
Mission Bay RV Resort and Campland on the Bay are on De Anza Cove. The Mission Bay Golf course is next to the cove.
