Nutri Ninja Review

A blender is a kitchen necessity.  However, we have had a hard time finding a blender that can handle our needs.  This is until we got our Nutri Ninja.  We were skeptical at first, but this blender has been put into daily use.  This is our Nutri Ninja Review.

There are actually quite a few Nutri Ninja models to choose from at a wide range of prices.  We bought a top of the line Nutri Ninja Blender Duo with Auto IQ.   Frankly this is probably overkill as we mainly just turn it on and press the button.  However, the 1500 watt motor is what sold us.  With a blender power is everything.

Nutri Ninja Review

Our model came with 3 containers, 18 oz, 24 ounce and 32 ounce.  There is also a huge 72 ounce container with its own blade that we never use.  This model is no longer available but you can buy a refurbished one on Amazon.  It is the original Nutri Ninja BL642.

The closest one to our model is probably either the Ninja Mega Kitchen System at $160 or the newer version of the Nutri Ninja BL642 (also $160).  We would just note that the new BL642 is 1200 watts of power, not 1500.  I do not know how much of a difference that makes.  The BL642 receives good reviews on Amazon but some people complained that they thought it was 1500 watts, not 1200.

If we were buying the Nutri Ninja again we would probably go for the $100 version that is 1100 watts.  This is the Nutri Ninja BL660.  The downside is it only comes with two 16-ounce cups.  However, you can buy extra cups for under $15.

We use our Nutri Ninja for making smoothies.  This is something we do several times a week and alone our smoothie making justifies the purchase.

However, the Nutri Ninja does much more than just smoothies.  We also use it for blending spices and making hot sauces.  This is how we make our chili powder as well as our hot sauce.  The Nutri Ninja is easy to use.  You put your ingredients in the cup and screw on the blade as a cap.  You turn the cup upside down and put it on the motor.

Fun Diego Family does regular reviews of products we like.  We only review products that we have used AND recommend.  If we don’t like a product we don’t review it.  In other words, you will only find positive reviews.  In summary of our Nutri Ninja Review we highly recommend our model with the caveat that we have 1500 watts of power while the newer model is 1200.  For people on a budget the 1100 watt Nutri Ninja BL660  may be worth considering at $100.
